Lifecycle Marketing Associate Manager - CPG DTC E-Commerce
The Role:
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and customer-centric Lifecycle Marketer to join our growing marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a direct role in shaping the customer journey at a brand where growth is accelerating and performance matters.
In this role, you’ll report to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing and lead the crafting and optimizing of the email and SMS journeys that convert leads, turn one-time purchasers into subscribers, retain and grow customers, and win back those who’ve churned. You’ll work at the intersection of data, storytelling, and customer experience to scale lifecycle programs that directly contribute to our mission and momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day operations and strategy for email and SMS channels covering customer acquisition, churn prevention, subscriber cross-sell, referral marketing, and churn winback.
- Partner with the Director of Lifecycle Marketing to plan and manage the email and SMS campaign calendar, including cultural moments, seasonal initiatives, promotional periods and more.
- Develop clear, strategic creative briefs for copy writing and design lifecycle content.
- Analyze campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, CVR, churn, etc.) and deliver weekly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead ongoing testing and optimization across time of day, frequency, copy, design, CTAs, brand voice, segmentation, and more to drive continuous improvement.
- Refine customer segmentation and journey mapping to tailor messaging to key audience segments.
- Grow and manage our email and SMS lists using innovative and targeted acquisition strategies.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deployments of all campaigns, with detailed attention to segmentation, compliance, and end-to-end user experience.
- Stay informed on email and SMS marketing trends, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and customer engagement strategies.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, or SMS marketing.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive.
- Direct-to-Consumer Subscription experience
- Knowledge of customer segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset and experience translating performance data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you’re comfortable working with creative teams to develop compelling content.
