Email Marketing Manager
The Role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Email Marketing Manager to lead our email and SMS marketing department. You will be responsible for setting the overall strategy, managing and mentoring our Email Marketing Specialist, and ensuring our clients' email programs are maximizing revenue and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the high-level email marketing and SMS strategy for all clients, collaborating with Account Managers to align on goals, offers, and creative direction.
Manage, mentor, and provide feedback to the Email Marketing Specialist, ensuring all campaigns, automations, and projects are completed with excellence and on time.
Review, approve, and finalize all email campaigns and segments before they are scheduled, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
Take the lead on all monthly and quarterly analytics reviews and reporting, presenting strategies to clients and internal teams to improve KPIs and revenue.
Lead client meetings to discuss monthly plans, special offers, and upcoming strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing, deliverability, and e-commerce.
Oversee the management of email marketing tools, including Klaviyo, Asana, and Slack, ensuring the team has the resources and training they need to succeed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role in email marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
Deep expertise in Klaviyo and a strong understanding of email and SMS marketing best practices.
Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team, provide clear direction, and foster professional growth.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex strategies to clients and team members.
Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
A proven track record of driving revenue and improving key email marketing metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates).
Schedule:
This is a full-time, remote position with a work schedule of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (time zone to be specified, e.g., PST/EST). The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Klaviyo and a proven ability to lead a team and drive performance for e-commerce clients.
