Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and support payment solutions using ACI’s UPF platform.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver customizations or enhancements.
• Create and maintain UPF configuration artifacts including Message Maps, Service Configurations, and Delivery Channels.
• Perform code-level debugging and performance tuning of UPF modules.
• Integrate UPF with upstream/downstream systems including switches, fraud systems, and core banking.
• Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
• Handle incident and problem management for production systems, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Contribute to documentation, including design specs and configuration guides.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3–8 years of experience in payment systems, preferably with hands-on experience in ACI’s UPF.
• Good understanding of ISO 8583, XML, JSON, and other financial messaging formats.
• Strong experience with UPF configuration elements (Service Definitions, Message Sources, Data Maps, Formatters).
• Proficiency in Java or other languages commonly used in UPF customizations.
• Familiarity with middleware, databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2), and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience in CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and ticketing systems like JIRA is a plus.
• Exposure to real-time transaction processing, message flows, and integration with switches (e.g., BASE24-eps) is desirable.
