Product Manager
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to act as the local representative for the evolution and implementation of our client’s mobile telco business, running on our global SaaS platform, in Mexico. This role involves a blend of technical acumen, client-facing skills, and a deep understanding of market-specific needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful delivery and adaptation of our product in line with client expectations and market requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with client delivery teams, core product team, third-party partners, and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of key outcomes for clients.
- Act as a bridge between the global product team and local market needs, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives, capabilities, and requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that the voice of the customer is heard and integrated into product development.
- Agile Product Development:
- Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure that development teams and partners have a clear understanding of product requirements and deliver on these effectively.
- Local Deployment Readiness:
- Ensure readiness across functions (including product, engineering, operations, go-to-market, customer support) and certify product prior to release
- Ensure end-to-end local product functionality and quality control
- Value Proposition Consultation:
- Consult value proposition and go-to-market owners on platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with how the SaaS platform might deliver the proposition.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform product development.
- Contribute to the enhancement of our core product offerings based on insights and feedback gathered from client engagements and delivery experiences.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify potential risks in product implementation and devise effective solutions.
- Navigate challenges to ensure successful product releases and sustained performance.
- Communication and Collaboration Excellence:
- Demonstrate outstanding collaboration and communication skills, both internally and with external partners.
- Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the launch journey.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- 5-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or technology-focused environment with B2B and B2C exposure.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
