Digital Marketing Manager
The Role:
We are looking for a remote Senior Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) who will be responsible for directly managing digital marketing engagements with our clients across our different practice areas of SEM, SEO, and Content.
This role requires weekly interactions with clients to communicate, define and measure success; development of the advertising strategy to meet and exceed success targets; and a keen understanding of target markets and messaging development.
In this role you will be the quarterback of an account team to provide our services to the respective client. This requires keen project management skills, as well as the ability to communicate and coordinate across internal departments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct client discovery calls and establish measurable success metrics
- Facilitate discovery calls for other practice areas to engage the customer on their timelines
- Work with a technical lead partner on the account to collaboratively develop the strategy for meeting success metrics by defining the platforms, campaigns, and audiences.
- Work with practice area staff to ensure a cohesive account strategy that aligns with the client’s goals
- Create targeting profiles for the account
- Lead weekly review calls with the client
- As required, facilitate internal cross-department stand-up meetings for development and execution of strategy spanning multiple practice areas
- Oversee the management of paid search marketing accounts
- Research and select keywords and other audience defining parameters
- Create ad copy and ad content for the account
- Determine the best landing pages for campaigns
- Ensure regular tracking and reporting of results
- Oversee weekly account optimization
- Spot trends and suggest improvements
- Review and analyze competitor sites
- Be directly involved in client activity and conference calls
- Understand the clients’ objectives to develop SEM strategy
- Occasionally, participate in the development of subject matter trainings and presentation of materials to staff
Premium Account Responsibilities:
- Budget management (cross ad channel forecasting and planning; pro forma analysis)
- Ensuring communication to the client with a single voice
- A deeper understanding of the required digital techniques at varying funnel stages, from awareness to opportunity creation, including, but not limited to, reporting, ROI analysis, and such
- As needed, work with external vendor and supplies to augment required deliverables to the client
- Ability to develop different communication strategies based on the client’s hierarchical organizational structure
- Ability to present the pros and cons of complex ad strategies, as well as detailed requirements for implementation, in terms understandable to clients of varying technical expertise
- Plan out and present a success roadmap to the client, which outlines actual success results they’ve achieved, as well as future goals
- Full understanding of the services provided by different practice areas and the ability to present those services to the client
- Have the ability to identify additional service opportunities to the client based on their needs
Requirements:
- Work US Eastern time hours from 8am-5pm
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills including fluent to native conversational English
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years of PPC managing experience, preferably within an agency environment
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with clients, and account managing clients
- Current Google AdWords Certification
- Should have experience with common CRM and marketing systems, such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Should have experience with common tools for SEM and SEO research, such as SEMRush or Ahrefs
- Strong understanding of performance analytics tools, like Google Analytics
- Strong organizational skills; Prior project management experience preferred
